Magens Bay: Kayak Day.

Hello Girls! After a day in Charlotte Amalie discovering the wonderful culture of this island, it’s time to discover what St. Thomas is really known for: Magens Bay! Considered by National Geographic, the finest Beach in the World!

Located on the North side of the island, Magens Bay is the Jewel of St. Thomas, a perfect white sand beach and crystal blue-turquoise water surrounded by its lush vegetation, hills and giant rocks. It looks just so similar to the Seychelles! With breathtaking landscapes, it’s the perfect beach for a perfect day!

However, Magens Bay is not the kind of boring beach where there is nothing to do. Instead, there are plenty aquatic activities and kayaking is the most popular one.

Since it’s a worldwide famous Beach, it will be hard to find a quiet place in the middle of so many tourists. Unlike Princess Cays or even Eleuthera Island (Bahamas), this beach is very animated with musicians and youth.

So, I got an Idea! Let’s rent a Kayak (1hour will cost around $30-$50) and Explore the Entire bay!

Kayaking cross the bay allows you to find remote beaches disconnected from any public access, where the only way to get there is by water. Well, at the end, we can say we left the crowd behind and found our little sunshine, quiet and sandy refuge.

Did you know about Magens Bay? What was the most beautiful beach you went so far?

Xoxo, Melanie
