Hello Everyone! After 2 weeks in South Beach, it’s time to leave and move toward new horizons! On this Post, I’m going to share which Places you should see if you are in Miami Beach for only 1 day. If you only have 1 day,  then let’s not loose a second and here are the Must-See Places!

MUST SEE: OCEAN DRIVE

Versace Mansion in Ocean Drive

Inaugurated in 1915, it’s one of the most photographed and recorded street in North America featuring in several movies, Tv shows, and ads, welcome to the very Iconic Ocean Drive! Center of the Miami Art Deco District, there are so many things to see there:

Art Deco Buildings and Hotels: Ocean Drive has over 800 preserved buildings and one of them is the Colony. This 1939 boutique-inspired hotel has been featured in numerous movies, TV shows including Dexter being the most photographed one. Another famous hotel is the Clevelander where there is always animation, music, singers, shows, there is an indoor sports lounge as well a dance floor and pool area on the ground floor and a complimentary rooftop lounge. Of course you have much more hotels such as the breakwater, the Betsy, etc. that has a very interesting Art Deco architecture.

Versace Mansion (in the image above): one of the most photographed houses in North America. Don’t miss to take a shoot there, it’s definitely the Best-to-see in Ocean Drive.

Mango’s Tropical Café: A Cuban inspired restaurant and the most famous and funniest Bar in Ocean Drive, with its “Magic Mike” inspired shows, it’s a Must-See without hesitation!

The street is full of restaurants but they are all very expensive and average, so I don’t really recommend eating there, unless you want to watch a show or stay close of the beach. If you want to chill out, you can go to the Nikki Beach, located in the 1st Ocean Drive, good vibe and very quiet place. It’s definitely far away of the touristic area.

SHOPPING: LINCOLN ROAD

Lincoln Road

Don’t miss the famous shopping area of South Beach: Lincoln Road.

You will find both global and local brands from clothing, accessories, beauty, coffee shops, restaurants, however this street is full of very aggressive sellers so be very careful.

Fashion Urgency? Soho Boutique.

It’s 9 PM and you have nothing to wear tonight. Relax! I’m here to help you: If you want not only to get a gorgeous Holt or Baccio, drink Vodka for free during your purchase, and be assisted with a personal dresser then try out the Soho Boutique in Lincoln Road.

The store provides even a runway full of mirrors so you can be sure you will get a very fun moment trying out expensive outfits. Oscar will make you feel extremely comfortable and will help you to find the perfect outfit!

However be ready to spend around $ 800 for a nightdress + shoes or $600 for a top + jeans + shoes. There is no sales tax refund in USA. Unlike EU, you have no way to get the sales tax back even being a tourist. So expect to pay always +7% of the value in the label. The best is to ask for a discount if the manager is available.

Restaurants: Restaurants are open until 1-2 AM, they are pretty average but for an emergency they can make it.

GO GREEN: SECRET GARDENS

Need some fresh air and green? Miami Beach is not only about crowded touristic streets. You can escape and go to green Parks with wonderful gardens near the city Hall. Very calm and peaceful spot, perfect to chill out.

Any other place would you recommend as a “Must-See” in Miami Beach? Don’t hesitate to tell me what you think.

Xoxo, Melanie
