Hello my Dear Friends! Finally back to Athens!
I’m actually between 2 flights. After my amazing stay in Mykonos, I came back to the mainland to catch another plane, but this time to the North of Greece: to Thessaloniki, the second largest city after Athens, which would be only in late afternoon.
With so many hours of break between the flights (I arrived in Athens early morning around 10 AM), I had time enough to explore the downtown and stop by the beautiful University of Athens (hope you saw the Snaps at MelanieBlog).
No, it’s not my first time here (see here my first story about Athens). But if you guys remember the first time I came here I only visited the Acropolis.
You guys know I love pastel colors and with this casual salmon dress from Karen Millen, I combined it with my new blush from Chanel Beauty that was subtle enough for the day, yet it definitely brought some extra definition to my cheekbones.
Summer in Athens is always quite hot and intense, so I didn’t want to abuse in terms of make-up.
Indeed, Greece is all about effortless looks (and make-up), from casual dresses, jumpsuits to resort wear.
In terms of shoes, I definitely recommend to bring either casual sneakers (mainly for cities such as Athens), brown sandals, or compensated heels if you are going to night out.
Have you ever been in Athens? How was your experience?
