NEW YORKER

I was getting used to this place. After several days in the rush, taking Ubers and subways, I was even enjoying it! Diogo not so much. I miss my organic food, freshly squeezed juices and vegan bistros.New York Fashion Week has been pretty crazy and the traffic here it’s so intense that I even manage to arrive 1 hour late at one of my appointments! Everyone is  on the rush. Only during the evening while enjoying a good dinner and a glass, I can relax.

From the Furla Presentation, to the fashion shows, to the showroom meetings, fittings, hairstylist, to the after-parties to network, very few time was last to do proper “landscaping” (in other words getting lost and discover the city). In NYC, I wake up at 6-7AM. Always. I felt like I was already late to go to somewhere.

But this time, I wasn’t late. I was finally in a day off to explore the city and walk by the Brooklyn bridge to take some nice shots with my new Karen Millen dress.

Tomorrow was my last day in Manhattan. Hope you guys have been following and keeping up with me over my Snapchat MelanieBlog and Instagram .

New York Fashion Week taught me a lot about punctuality and organisation, but most importantly I did new girlfriends who share the same values and passion than me.

For now my dear friends I will have to leave but I promise I will be back soon with new updates this time from my Milano Fashion Week.

See You very soon!

Xx,
Melanie
