Silently Mdina

If during over a month I have been travelling around white sand caribbean islands, now I have been visiting European islands featured by a rich medieval culture and history. One of the best heritage is this city: Mdina – former fortified capital of Malta with 4000 years of history. The city is incredibly well preserved with its cathedral, churches, restaurants, fortification, and there is still around 300 inhabitants living there. It’s really impressive how a city can have 4000 years!

We had to take a cab from Valletta since Mdina is located in the region of Rabat, the heart (country side) of the island.

It was  extremely hot this day, fortunately I picked a cotton dress from chicwish, just perfect for the occasion. The medieval architecture is absolutely stunning and we feel like in a open museum or literally back in time!

Have you been in Mdina or in Malta? Don’t forget to let me know or to leave me any recommendation!

Love,

Melanie
