Diogo and I finished our Cote d’Azur itinerary with a couple of days in Nice – the biggest city in the French Riviera. The Vieux Nice is simply the most picturesque part of France with its charming narrow streets and colorful buildings, a fusion between the Italian dolce vista (think Positano) and the elegant French touch.
Verdon is a hidden gem we found on the road to Valensole. Diogo and I couldn’t believe how turquoise and clear is the water at the Sainte-Croix Lake! We stopped there for around 30mins to contemplate its incredible natural beauty. In fact, this river canyon is often considered to be one of Europe’s most beautiful.
Ah Provence! The huge fields of lavender and sunflowers spreads out on miles and miles, the smells, the songs, the roads, the colors, everything here looks like made from Happiness. I’m so glad to finally walk around the lavender fields and play like a kid!
EuroSummer 2017 is finally here! This time I decided to start my journey #EuroSummer2017 with a special trip of 17 days (because it’s 2017 eheh) thru the French Riviera (Cote d’Azur) from Menton to Marseille. Time to visit the Southern part of my country! Couldn’t think of a better city to start than Cannes.
